| THE BREEDLOVE STORY | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen met Seymour at her waitressing job on the wrong side of the tracks. She'd just moved to town and was looking for a place to stay. Being something of a free spirit, she agreed to crash at his place. | ||
![]() | ||
| "This must be the place," said Gwen to herself. There were bikers on the lawn, just like Seymour had said there would be, and the mailbox said "Sugar Shack" on it... at least, it probably did before the vowels fell off. | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen let herself in, leaving the bikers to vomit on the lawn. "I guess I've seen worse", she said aloud. The furniture was cheap and the walls were exposed particle board. "Hello?" she called. | ||
![]() | ||
| "Who's out there!" shouted Seymour. "It's me... Gwen", she said. "You know how to cook?" he asked her, stepping from the bedroom. She nodded. "We should get along just fine, then", he growled. | ||
![]() | ||
| A passing Jehovah's Witness had tried to warn her away. "Young lady," he intoned, "this is not the place for you. Move on with your life, and forget you ever knew that man!" | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen had laughed at the man's advice. She was a big girl and she could take care of herself. But that night, Gwen learned there was only one bed. "We can share, or you can sleep on the floor," growled Seymour. | ||
![]() | ||
| Being something of a free spirit, Gwen jumped right in. | ||
![]() | ||
| Aside from waitressing, all Gwen's free time was taken up by cooking for Seymour... | ||
![]() | ||
| And nonstop partying with Seymour's unusual friends, often until she passed out. | ||
![]() | ||
| Unfortunately, making the carpool late every day for two weeks cost Gwen her job. | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen checked her reflection in the mirror. She was a young, attractive girl. Who needed a job anyway? She could always just party the pain away... maybe. | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen just wasn't interested in the parties anymore. Even when the cops would come to break things up it didn't provide the same thrill it had before. | ||
![]() | ||
| Spending all her free time at home meant Gwen could sharpen her skills at cooking... | ||
![]() | ||
| And cleaning... | ||
![]() | ||
| Until the day that she had to break the news to Seymour that she was having a baby. She hoped desperately that he wouldn't throw her out on her ear, despite the shoddy treatment she was getting. | ||
![]() | ||
| At least when she had been waitressing, she felt like she was doing something worthwhile. Now, when she wasn't sitting through parties or cooking for Seymour she was eating... | ||
![]() | ||
| And eating... | ||
![]() | ||
| And eating... | ||
![]() | ||
| Until her stomach ached. | ||
![]() | ||
| Now when Gwen looked in the mirror, she saw a slightly plump woman looking back. | ||
![]() | ||
| After the baby came, Gwen didn't have any time to fret over her weight. Now she had to take care of Seymour and her child. Her days became a blur of feedings: Seymour's, the baby's, and her own. | ||
![]() | ||
| With a baby to think about, Seymour decided to put a new plan into action. He would take charge of his life, get into shape, and get a good job. He would take responsibility for his actions. | ||
![]() | ||
| "Gwen," said Seymour, "I've been trying to make something of myself. I've turned over a new leaf. I even got a job! Will you marry me?" | ||
![]() | ||
| With some difficulty, Gwen managed to squeeze into a wedding gown and they were married. | ||
![]() | ||
| After the wedding, Gwen had a confession to make. "Seymour, we're having another baby." | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen was already well into her third trimester. Something told Seymour he was soon going to have a large family. | ||
![]() | ||
| One day, Gwen got a call from Cindy. Cindy and Gwen had been best friends and cheerleaders together in high school. It had been three years since Gwen had heard from her and it turned out that Cindy was moving into town. | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen invited Cindy over so they could catch up. | ||
![]() | ||
| "You look so great!" exclaimed Gwen. "You haven't changed a bit!" Cindy looked Gwen over. "You look so... pregnant..." said Cindy. "How many kids do you have?!" Cindy needed a place to stay, and Gwen volunteered to put her up. | ||
![]() | ||
| "I can't believe that you eat like this Gwen!" exclaimed Cindy, looking at Gwen's lunch. "It's no wonder you're as big as a house..." Cindy formulated a plan to whip Gwen into shape. | ||
![]() | ||
| After the baby was born, life became unbearable for Gwen. Cindy moved her stuff in and put Gwen on a strict diet and exercise regimen. "Now I know you have another two reps in you, Gwen. You don't eat until you burn those calories!" | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen was exhausted. Between the new Baby and Cindy, she was severely overworked. "Seymour," she finally said, "could you maybe hook her up with one of your friends... you know, get her out of the house a few nights?" | ||
![]() | ||
| So Cindy was introduced to Thor. He was handsome and muscular... and supremely egotistical. Just what Cindy looked for in a man. They hit it off right away and started seeing each other. | ||
![]() | ||
| Seymour, Gwen, and Cindy dined on salad, when Cindy suddenly jumped up. "I'm late for my date with Thor! Gwen, do twenty reps on the weight machine and don't cheat on your diet!" | ||
![]() | ||
| As Seymour got ready for his night shift, he and Gwen laughed about how well their fiendish plot had worked... Cindy was gone every night this week and the last. Even she wasn't sticking to her insane exercise plan anymore. | ||
![]() | ||
| "Sorry, Cindy, we didn't have time to buy fresh veggies and prepare a healthy lunch," said Gwen when Cindy showed up one morning after partying all night. "S'Ok," said Cindy, "I'm really hungry anyway." | ||
![]() | ||
| Later, Cindy came home almost in tears. "Cindy, what's the matter?" asked Gwen. Cindy told Gwen that she thought she might be pregnant, but when she'd told Thor, he said he never wanted to see her again. | ||
![]() | ||
| "There, there," said Gwen. "There's nothing like comfort food and a shoulder to cry on at a time like this." Cindy ate woodenly, taking some comfort in having a friend as good as Gwen. | ||
![]() | ||
| Long after Gwen passed out, Cindy continued to eat her heartache and worries away. | ||
![]() | ||
| Abandoning her diet, Cindy sought solace in fattening goodies... | ||
![]() | ||
| While a new, slimmer Seymour tries on his new duds. Cindy's exercise programs really did work. | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen taught an enthusiatic Cindy how to bake delicious brownies. Cindy tried out her freshly baked delights... they were terrific, and before she knew it she'd eaten them all. | ||
![]() | ||
| Looking in the mirror, Cindy admired her new, voluptuous figure... or at least as much of it as the mirror could show her. She had accepted her new lifestyle, just as Gwen had before her. | ||
![]() | ||
| "What are you so nervous about, Cindy?" asked Gwen. "I'm waiting for a call from the doctor about the results of some of the tests..." | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen and Cindy anxiously awaited the doctor's call, consuming all the food in the house while they waited. The phone rang. "This is Cindy... all the tests were fine? That's a relief... what? TRIPLETS!?" | ||
![]() | ||
| "I can't believe I'm having triplets!" exclaimed Cindy. "I can," said Gwen. | ||
![]() | ||
| The weeks passed quickly. With all the fuss over Cindy's pregnancy, no real attention was paid to Gwen's third until her water broke. She rushed to call Seymour while Cindy watched helplessly from the couch. | ||
![]() | ||
| Gwen checked her appearance in the mirror. Still lookin' good. Today was family picture day. | ||
![]() | ||
| "All right, so I've put on a little weight..." she conceded.. | ||
![]() | ||
| "Will these babies never be born?!" exclaimed Cindy. | ||
![]() | ||
| "All right, everyone. Smile for the camera." | ||
| THE END... | ||
